HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Hutchinson Fire responded to a large structure fire over the weekend.

According to the fire department, 6 units responded to the 7900 block of Cottontail around 8:45 Saturday evening, and found a two-story barn fully involved. The fire was put out in about 30 minutes but crews stayed on the scene overnight. The damage is estimated at around $27 thousand.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
