WICHITA – Two people were arrested on marijauna distribution charges in Sedgwick County on Thursday after narcotics detectives did a search of their home. The search began around 3 p-m in west Wichita.

Arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within a thousand feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp was 33-year-old Donald Sherwood, and 30-year-old Tenia Sherwood.

Detectives say they located approximately 45-pounds of marijuana during the search. Sheriff officials say the investigation continues and they are expected to present the case to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of formal charges.
