Motorcycle accident injures one, sends another to jail

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 21-year-old Wichita man was taken to jail early Saturday on charges of aggravated battery, DUI, flee and elude – reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident involving an injury.

Apparently a passenger on the motorcycle operated by Levi Daniel Dean Boman was ejected from the motor cycle in the 2000 block of North Plum.

24-year-old Tracy Roberts of Hutchinson was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

Boman is jailed on a bond of $6,250, and unless he is able to post that bond should make a first appearance in court on Monday.

The accident occurring around 2:15 a.m.
