LARNED – Two people were taken to a Wichita hospital after a two vehicle crash in Pawnee County late Friday night.
Taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita was 41-year-old David J. Dining of Larned, and 47-year-old Sharla Alana Durrett of Great Bend.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Dinning was northbound on Course Avenue in Larned and Durrett was stopped at Course Avenue and U-S 156, and for an unknown reason, Dinning rear ended Durrett’s vehicle.
Dining was immediately taken by Lifewatch helicopter to Wesley Medical Center, while Durrett was first taken to the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned, then taken by a Lifewatch helicopter to Wesley Medical Center for treatment.
The accident occurring just before 10 p-m Friday evening on U-S 156 at Course Avenue in Larned.
