STERLING – A 62-year-old Augusta man was taken to Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson around 8 a-m Tuesday morning when when he lost control of his Dodge pickup on K-14 and K-96.

Injured was Douglas P. Enge. He was northbound when his pickup hit some ice, and he slid into the east ditch and his vehicle overturned, and ended up facing south.

The accident occurring about half mile south of Avenue X on K-14 and K-96, about a mile south of Sterling in Rice County.
