The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors have announced that they will be accepting member applications to serve on the President Search Committee. The Committee is being formed to assist in the selection process of a replacement for Dave Kerr, who announced that he will depart from the organization around the end of the year.

The Search Committee will be comprised of five to seven individuals who will be responsible for soliciting membership input, vetting applications, and recommending up to three finalists to the Board of Directors. Any Chamber member in good standing is eligible and encouraged to apply to serve on the Committee.

Interested members should submit a one-page letter expressing their interest in serving to the Chamber Board of Directors Executive committee by Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Letters and identities of applicants for the Search Committee will be kept confidential. The Committee will be announced to the Chamber membership on September 12, 2011.
