HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Fire Crews responded to a house fire at 411 W 15th late Thursday afternoon.

When they arrived, they found smoke and flames visible from the rear of the structure. The fire was contained to one bedroom and was extinguished in less than ten minutes, however, crews did remain on scene for a period of time to assist with smoke removal.

No one was home at the time of the call and unattended candles were found to be the cause of the fire.
