TOPEKA – As we ring in the New Year, the Kansas Lottery will be celebrating its silver anniversary by offering players a chance to set sail on a cruise! The $5 Kansas Lottery 25th Anniversary Cruise instant scratch ticket offers players a chance to win one of four 8-day, 7-night cruises for two on Royal Caribbean International’s® Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, or comparable vessel in a second-chance drawing. The second-chance drawing will take place at Riverfest in Wichita June 9. Players can also win cash prizes instantly.
Each grand prize includes lodging for two in an ocean view balcony stateroom; first-class round trip airfare from Kansas City, Mo. to Fort Lauderdale, Fl.; round trip ground transfers to and from airport to the ship; $1,000 in ship credit for entertainment and excursions; $500 cash; hotel accommodations before departure; a luggage set; and mandatory state and federal income withholding taxes and other applicable initial fees for the prize. Each cruise prize package is valued at approximately $19,600.
In addition to the cruise grand prize packages and cash prizes that can be won instantly on the ticket, players can also win free admission to the Wichita Riverfest if they reveal “Free Button” in the bonus scratch area. Tickets that are redeemed for buttons are no longer eligible as entries for the second-chance drawing. However, if a player chooses to not redeem a “Free Button” it can be entered for the second-chance drawing.
To enter the second-chance drawing, players must mail non-winning $5 Kansas Lottery 25th Anniversary Cruise instant scratch tickets to the Kansas Lottery 25th Anniversary Cruise, Kansas Lottery, P.O. Box 19226, Topeka, KS 66619-0226.
Mailed entries must be received at the above address by the morning mail pick up in Topeka, June 5. No later than this date, entries may also be deposited for the drawing at the Kansas Lottery’s selling location at the Wichita Riverfest from June 1 through June 9 at 6 p.m. Winners of this drawing must claim their prize within 30 days from the date of the drawing. Players may enter as often as they wish, but may only win one prize package.
