HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A domestic disturbance call Sunday night led to the arrest of a 30-year-old Hutchinson man on drug charges.
Joshua Schneithorst was taken to jail for possession of marijuana with intent to sell within a thousand feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, no tax stamp, battery, domestic violence and criminal damage, domestic violence.
According to statements made in court, he allegedly pushed the victim then broke glass out of a door.
He was found in the basement of the home in the 300 block of West 12th. When they made contact with the suspect, they discovered the marijuana in plain sight. The marijuana was apparently in six different bags.
His bond was set at $12,750, but during a first appearance, Magistrate Judge Cheryl Allen lowered it to $5,000.
The arrest coming Sunday just before 9 p.m.
