HUTCHINSON, Kan. – According to Reno County Administrative Judge Patty Macke-Dick, the Kansas Court of Appeals will hold hearings here in Hutchinson on Tuesday, Nov. 17.

They will hold the hearings in the Division 1 courtroom beginning at 9 a.m.

One of the cases that will be heard is a Reno County case for 34-year-old Roberto Rincon (top right). He was sentenced to 13 years in prison by Judge Trish Rose after being convicted for manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of ephedrine and lithium metal and anhydrous ammonia with intent to manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as a gun charge. That case goes back to March 21, 2012.

There are two other cases from Reno County, one involves a criminal case with Trae Reed and the other is a civil case involving what was Promise Regional Medical Center.

The judge panel will also hear a case out of McPherson County. Twenty-eight-year-old Carlos Delgado Gonzales was convicted on charges of burglary, criminal damage to property and battery of a corrections officer. That case goes back to Aug. 10, 2011.

Each side in theses cases will make their arguments before the Appeals Court panel in a 15-minute time frame.
