HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Kansas State Fair has the person it wants to be the next General Manager.

During an executive session this afternoon, the fair board gave the go ahead to negotiate a new contract for the person that would replace longtime GM Denny Stoecklein.

The board interviewed four potential candidates earlier in the week. The four finalists were narrowed down from 28 applicants.
