WELLSVILLE (AP) – Franklin County sheriff’s deputies continue to investigate the shooting death of a 56-year-old Wellsville man.

Sean Thompson died after being shot Saturday afternoon. No other details were released.

The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that the shooting was reported by Thompson’s daughter.

Master Deputy Jerrod Fredricks said the death is being investigated as a homicide.
