WICHITA, Kan. – The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the origin of human skeletal remains located in a wooded area near 61st Street North and Hillside, northeast of Wichita.

The skeletal remains were found by a hunter and the Sheriff’s Office was notified around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

No other details have been released.
