Teen receives minor injuries after early morning crash

ARLINGTON, Kan. – A 15-year-old was taken by private vehicle after he apparently fell asleep and crashed the vehicle he was driving at a T intersection at Arlington Road and Mohawk.

According to the Reno County Sheriff’s Office, Aaron Coblentz was traveling West on Arlington Road and fell asleep. His vehicle crossed the east bound lane to enter the south side Ditch. He then struck the culvert south of the T intersection.

Reno County EMS came to the scene where Aaron had a laceration on his face. Aaron refused to transport by them and was taken by his parents for medical treatment later in the day.

That accident occurring around 6:50 a.m. Saturday morning.
