2 Kansas men hospitalized after vehicle rolls

Kansas Highway Patrol KHPROOKS COUNTY- Two Kansas men injured in an accident just before 11:30p.m. on Wednesday in Rooks County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Chevy Impala driven by John R. Holsinger, 33, Woodston, northbound on U.S. 183 five miles north of the Kansas 18 Junction.

The vehicle began to pass another vehicle and the driver of the Chevy lost control of vehicle. It entered the west ditch and rolled.

Holsinger and a passenger Jamie D. Smith, 38, Stockton, were transported to the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville.

Holsinger was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
