TREGO COUNTY – The Kansas Highway Patrol reminds drivers to pay attention and move over when a law enforcement vehicle is stopped on the side of the road.

A vehicle sideswiped a trooper on Interstate 70 in Trego County on Wednesday, according to Kansas Highway Patrol trooper Tod Hillman. The crash knocked the mirror and spotlight off of the patrol car after if was hit.
The trooper and his trainee were not injured.
