Norman and Kay Krause Collection display and sale

The Hutchinson Art Association is proud to announce that the Norman and Kay Krause Collection of Painting…some eighty items by many of the most collected Kansas artists…will be on display and offered for sale to the public at the Hutchinson Art Center, 405 N Washington in Hutchinson.

For over four decades, Norman and Kay Krause of Hutchinson collected paintings with deep ties to our state.  Over the years the couple’s collection grew to include works by some of the most talented artists in Kansas.  The paintings were primarily representational and of fine quality representing the discerning taste of Mr. and Mrs Krause.  As a note of interest, all of the works in the exhibit were painted while the artists were Kansas residents.  Paintings include works by Dickerson, Rogers, Raymer, Sanderson, and Sandzen.  The general public will be able to view the collection beginning Saturday, October 8th.  The sale will continue through November 6th.

Please contact the Art Center for more information about specific conditions concerning the exhibit and sale at 620-663-1081 or email at hutchart2@hac.kscoxmail.com
