HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Country 102.9 and My 93-1 will be accepting donations for BrightHouse, the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Center Women’s Shelter, at the 57th Annual Abbyville Rodeo on Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18, near the main gate.
Look for the Eagle Radio truck starting at 6 each evening to drop off your donation before the rodeo begins at 8 p.m.
Below is a wish list of the current items most needed at the shelter.
The Hutchinson contributions will be combined with those collected by our Eagle Radio stations in Great Bend, Salina, Hays, Manhattan and Junction City. The final amount will then be matched by the Schmidt Family Foundation and will be distributed to the Nebraska Red Cross.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Eagle Communications (My 93-1, Country 102.9 and KWBW) is collecting monetary donations at the Eagle Media Center for victims of the catastrophic flooding in Nebraska.
BNSF crews work along the Platte River in Nebraska to restore rail service.
Hutchinson-area residents wishing to make a contribution may bring cash or checks to the Eagle Media Center at 825 N. Main in Hutchinson.
Checks should be made out to the Nebraska Red Cross. Donations will be collected through April 4.
The Hutchinson contributions will then be combined with those collected by Eagle Radio stations in Hays, Great Bend, Salina, Manhattan and Junction City, and will be distributed to the Nebraska Red Cross.

Tuesdays — 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Wednesdays and Thursdays — 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 2 — 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
IRS certified volunteers will prepare taxes free of charge for persons whose combined household income does not exceed $54,000. In 2018, VITA volunteers prepared over 1,300 tax returns. This free tax service is returning.
