HUTCHINSON, Kan. —  Gas prices increased just before the Fourth of July, but had stayed below the $2 mark. 

Both Kwik Shops and Yesway markets in Hutchinson now have prices at $2.05, while the price at Murphy’s USA remains at $1.93, according to www.gasbuddy.com.

Love’s in South Hutchinson has a price of $1.99. Red Rock is at $1.98 and the Kwik Shops in that city are at $2.04.

The average price in the state is also now above $2 at $2.07 per gallon for regular unleaded.
