A 20 year old Hays man was killed in an accident in rural Ellis County early Saturday morning.
The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office and Ellis County EMS were dispatched to 210th Avenue and Mount Pleasant Road at 1:06 a.m. for a report of an injured man who fell from a moving vehicle.
Jordan D. Schreurs was transported to Hays Medical Center with head injuries and later flown to University of Kansas Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the Ellis County Sheriff’s office.
