WICHITA, Kan. –The Wichita Wings Soccer Team plans return to professional indoor soccer under a new local Wichita ownership group.
The team is set to begin operations immediately, according to a news release, and will play all home games at Hartman Arena in Park City.
“The Wings front office is still looking to round out a few staff members and expects to hold a news briefing in the coming days to disclose details for the 2020 season,” the release said.
The original Wichita Wings team run was from 1979 to 2001.

The team has begun signing players and will be holding open tryouts at Hartman Arena on November 23 and 24. Tryout registration will be announced during the upcoming news conference that will be soon announced.
Wichita Wings training camp opens on November 1st ahead of preseason games against the Dallas Sidekicks and the Kansas City Comets.
Hutchinson Community College Soccer coach Sammy Lane is a former standout player for the Wichita Wings.
