Two hospitalized after Reno County collision

Screen-Shot-2014-07-03-at-5.13.15-AM.pngRENO COUNTY – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident just before 8a.m. on Monday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Ford truck driven by Matthew L. Wells, 35, Arlington, was northbound on Peace Road.

The driver failed to yield at the stop sign Kansas 61 and collided with a 2013 Ford passenger car Alyssa Boser, 21, Pierz, MN., that was traveling southwest on Kansas 61

Two passengers in the Boser vehicle,  Janet M. Hansmann, 73, and Richard Hansman, 74, both of Little Falls, MN., were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

Boser was not injured. Wells possibly injured but not transported for treatment and not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
