PRETTY PRAIRIE, Kan. – One person was taken to the hospital just after 10 a.m. Wednesday after a two vehicle accident in the county. It happened at K-14 and Longview Rd., in Reno County.
Dennis Hendershot from Pretty Prairie was stopped in the north bound lane of traffic due to construction. While he was waiting for the southbound lane to clear, he was rear ended by Keaton Danahy also of Pretty Prairie.
Hendershot was not injured but Danahy was transported to the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to the sheriff’s department. Deputies also issued a ticket, according to the report.
