HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two residents from the Wichita area arrested on drug-related charges back on May 19 after they were alleged to have been involved in a hit-and-run accident in the city have been formally charged.

Forty-year-old Jason Fike of Wichita was arrested in the 300 block of South Pershing and now faces charges of, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, felony interference with law enforcement and three alternate counts of flee and elude. He remains jailed on a bond of $11,850.

As we told you earlier, he is being sought by federal marshals for a bank robbery case with the warrant out of Virginia. However, the warrant didn’t specify where the robbery took place.

The co-defendant, thirty-nine-year-old Kandra B. Carter of Haysville was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute and interference with law enforcement. She is also jailed with a bond of $9,500.

The cases against the two will now move to future waiver-status dockets.
