SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two from Hutchinson were injured in an accident just before 7:30 a.m. on Monday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Honda driven by Kathleen Ann Garcia, 43, Hutchinson, was southbound on Kansas 14 four miles south of South Hutchinson.

The vehicle made a left-hand turn onto Trail West Road in front of a 1999 Ford truck driven by Bryce Duane Sherow, 16, Langdon, that was northbound on Kansas 14.

The truck struck the right rear portion of the Honda.

Garcia and a passenger, Ashley Garcia, 15, Hutchinson, were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

Sherow was not injured.

All were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
