RENO COUNTY – Two people were injured in an accident just before 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday in Reno County.

The Reno County Sheriff’s office reported a 2015 Ford Fusion driven by Florene Krehbiel, 81, Pretty Prairie, was northbound on Whiteside Road.

The driver failed to stop at the stop sign at Arlington Road.

A westbound 2017 Ford Super Duty truck driven by Gary Jacques, 70, Partridge, hit the Fusion. Jacques lost control of the truck and it rolled into the ditch on the north side of Arlington Road.

EMS transported Krehbiel and Jacques to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
