Someone who purchased a lottery ticket in central Kansas is $1 million richer. The player matched the first five Powerball numbers in the June 30 drawing, winning the cash prize. The winning numbers were 07-15-20-41-44 Powerball 22.
The lucky ticket was purchased in south central Kansas, which includes Reno, Rice, McPherson, Stafford, Harvey, Pratt, and Kingman counties.
This is Kansas’ second Powerball Match 5 $1 million prize under the game’s new prize structure, which began January 15, 2012. The first Match 5 $1 million prize was claimed in April by a Topeka resident who wished to remain anonymous.
