3 Escape Lansing Prison – Hutch Post Archive

Friday morning it was confirmed that three (3) minimum custody Kansas Department of Corrections inmates housed in the minimum unit at Lansing Correctional Facility were declared on escape status. Authorities are looking for:

57 year-old Randy A Ridens, Sr, 5’11” Caucasian male 230 lbs Brown eyes Brown hair 2010 conviction – multiple counts burglary and one count theft in Shawnee and Douglas County

49-year-old Scott A Gilbert, 6’2” Caucasian male 231 lbs Brown eyes Brown hair 2010 conviction – multiple counts burglary and theft in Sedgwick County

31-year-old Allen M Hurst, 5’9’’ Caucasian male 220 lbs Blue eyes Brown hair 2010 conviction – multiple counts burglary and theft in Sedgwick County

All escapees are considered armed and dangerous. If anyone has information pertaining to the whereabouts of Allen Hurst, Scott Gilbert, and/or Randy Ridens, Sr, please call 911, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-572-7463 or Lansing Correctional Facility at 913-727-3235.
