MARION, Kan. — Three Hutchinson Residents were among five injured in a two-vehicle accident in Marion County Monday morning.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 26-year old Edward Fowler of Hutchinson was going west on US-56 when he turned left into an oncoming van driven by 71-year old Donald Keazer of Marion. The two vehicles collided at the intersection of US-56 and Orchard Street in the Marion city limits.
Fowler and two passengers, 24-year-old Dana Koenig and 6-year-old Emmett Mayberry-Koenig, were all taken by EMS to Hillsboro Community Hospital for treatment of injuries. Keazer and a passenger, 36-year-old Emily Caldwell, were also taken to the hospital in Hillsboro. A second passenger in the vehicle, 70-year old Loretta Keazer, was not injured.
The accident happened just before 11:30 a.m.
