WICHITA – Vernon “Spike,” Coleman has been profiled as one of the top ten most wanted fugitives several times over the past 17-years. He has also been profiled on, America’s Most Wanted.”

Coleman was wanted for aggravated indecent liberties with a child, aggrvated criminal sodomy, and sexual exploitation of a child.

He has eluded authorities since March of 1995, when the initial warrants were issued for his arrest.

Coleman was arrested on August 11th, by deputies in Pasco County, Florida for the warrants. He was booked into the jail about 5:45 p-m Wednesday evening.
