Accident at a Hutchinson intersection Tuesday looked worse then it was.

Both drivers of an accident over the noon hour Tuesday refused treatment, but both suffered minor injuries in a roll-over crash at 3rd & Plum.

65-year-old Mary Preheim of 2709 Sand Dunes had to be removed through the sunroof of her BMW because of it rolloing over ending up on its drivers side on the northeast corner of the intersection.

Apparently she was southbound when she ran a stop light and was struck by a Mazda 626 driven by 37-year-old Richard Conner II, of 68 Morningside in South Hutchinson. His car stayed in the intersection.

Preheim although refusing transport to the hospital by EMS, was later taken by private vehicle to Promise Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. She was also cited for disobeying a red light

Conner was cited for having no proof of liability insurance.

Police had most of the intersection closed for about an hour because of the accident which was first reported around 12:15 p-m.
