Reno County Emergency Officials were sent to a minor injury accident just before 1 p-m Tuesday afternoon at a location about one eighth of mile east of Yaggy Rd. on 56th.

67-year-old Linda Dills of Anthony had apparently stopped and exited her F-150 pickup in the eastbound lane of 56th, so she could ask directions from a farmer working in a nearby field. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Robert Kline, of Hutchinson driving eastbound in his Chevy S-10 struck the rear end of the F-150.

Kline had minor cuts, treated at the scene. One of two passengers in the Kline vehicle, 20-year-old Chelsea Wyatt, of Windom received undetermined injuries and was transported by Reno County EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

The second passenger was an infant in a child safety seat and was not injured.

Kline and Wyatt were both wearing seat belts according to the Reno County Sheriff’s Department.
