St. JOHN, Kan. – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident this morning in Stafford County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 82-year-old Cesario Gonzalez of Hutchinson, Minn., was going north of US-281 when he failed to yield at the intersection of US-50 and was hit by an eastbound vehicle driven by 44-year-old Jody Suiter of Macksville.
Gonzalez and his passenger, 80-year-old Rebecca Gonzalez, were both taken by EMS to Stafford County Hospital. Suiter suffered possible injuries in the crash, while her passenger, 13-year-old Jacob Suiter, was uninjured.
The accident happened just after 7 a.m., three miles south of St. John.
