HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 49-year-old Wichita man was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center after he overturned a semi on Nickerson Blvd. Saturday.

According to the Reno County Sheriff’s Office, Mark Pellock was driving his Dillon’s transport Semi west on Nickerson Blvd when he didn’t realize the road beginning to curve. Pellock told deputies he attempted to apply the brakes but hit the accelerator in a panic resulting in the semi overturning as he attempted to negotiate the curve.

Pellock was wearing his seatbelt at the time of impact and there was no airbag deployment.

He was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for a complaint of a possible injury.

The accident occurring around 6:30 p.m.
