CHENEY LAKE, Kan. — Two men from Wichita were taken to a Wichita hospital after a one vehicle accident in the county of Saturday.

Taken by air ambulance was 26-year-old Curtis Leon Howell to Via-Cristi St. Francis Regional Medical Center and taken by ambulance to St. Francis was 23-year-old Kyle Jefferson Maddox.

According to the Reno County Sheriff’s Office, Maddox was southbound on Yoder Road when he lost control on a curve and rolled his Chevy pickup. Howell was ejected from the vehicle.

The accident occurring around 8:40 p.m., on Yoder Road at Silver Lake near Cheney Lake. Alcohol is suspected as being involved.
