A 6-year-old girl was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center after she apparently ran into a car near Morgan School.

According to police, the little girl spotted her mother and ran between two cars parked along West 27th, she then ran into the side of an car traveling by the school. The girl then caught the back end of the car. The child was transported to the hospital with a possible broken leg.

The driver of the car apparently didn’t see the girl until after impact.

The accident occurring around 3:10 p-m, Tuesday afternoon.
