Reno County Deputies responded to an injury rollover accident early Friday morning just north of 56th & Monroe

The driver of the vehicle, Andrew Steven Peterson told sheriff deputies that he swerved to miss something in the road and lost control. His car then went into the west ditch, struck a pole, then rolled twice and came to rest on its roof.

A passerby stopped to check on Peterson and also called 911.

Peterson was not wearing his seat-belt at the time of the crash, but was able to exit the vehicle on his own. He had pain in his left thigh and a bloody lip and was transported by EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Sheriff officials say the accident is still under investigation which was reported around
2:20 a-m.
