A 10-year-old Hutchinson boy escaped serious injury in a car-bicycle accident Wednesday afternoon.

According to Hutchinson Police, Dominick McKenna was riding his bike at the intersection of 1st & Maple when he was hit by the car driven by 45-year-old Warren Dick of Buhler. McKenna was transported by Reno County EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

The accident occurring around 3:30 p-m Wednesday afternoon.
