One person was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center after a two vehicle accident on the northeast side of Hutchinson Wednesday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Evelyn J. Maddox of Hutchinson was stopped at traveling south on Lucille Drive and had stopped at a stop sign. She was preparing to make a westbound turn onto 30th. A vehicle drive by 57-year-old Clifford Paul Pearson Jr., was stopped behind her and apparently his foot slipped off the brake and then struck Maddox vehicle.
Maddox was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of a possible injury. Neither Pearson nor his 14-year-old passenger were injured.
The accident occurring just before 4 p-m Wednesday afternoon.
