Adolf “Al” Ace Ruta | 1926 – 2019 |

U.S. Veteran

Adolf ‘Al’ ‘Ace’ Ruta, 93, of Hutchinson, died February 3, 2019, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson. He was born January 29, 1926, in Fulton, NY, the son of Charles and Mary (Dryjarski) Ruta. Al graduated from Fulton High School and attended Wichita State University. He served in the United States Air Force and then worked for Beech Aircraft Corporation, General Electric, and retired from the Nestlé Company.

On April, 24, 1954, Al married Emma Jean Warner in Hutchinson. She died in 1975.

He is survived by: son, Clark and wife Barb, Hutchinson; daughter, Pat McGhan and husband Roger, Cadillac, MI; grandchildren, Nick Stuber and fiancée Paige Gunvalson, Minneapolis, MN, Dan Stuber and wife Aubrey Bodden, Georgetown, Grand Cayman, Molly Stuber, Boston, MA; step-grandson, Jimmy Dorris, Springfield, MO; numerous nieces and nephews.

Al was preceded in death by: his parents; sons, Adolf and Glen; brothers, Charles and Edwin; sisters, Jenny Reynolds and Vickie Litwak.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, NY. Memorials are suggested to Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
