HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The hearing for a 25-year-old suspected of committing a robbery in Hutchinson back on Oct. 11 was continued and placed back on a waiver-status docket Tuesday according to District Attorney Keith Schroeder.

Tyler Lee Ford is accused of entering the Kwik Shop at 17th & Monroe just before 10:30 p.m.with a semi-automatic handgun and demanding cash.

During a search of his residence, officers reportedly found clothing and a jacket he was wearing during the robbery with cash in one of the pockets.

Schroeder says the case will move to the waiver-status docket on Dec.27, however, he didn’t specify on what caused the continuance.

Ford was released from prison on May 4 after serving time for convictions of four burglaries, one aggravated burglary and two counts of theft. Those crimes occurred in 2012 and 2013.

The hearing is scheduled in front of Magistrate Judge Cheryl Allen.
