WICHITA, Kan. — Another “Heroes Welcome Home” is an opportunity to show our thanks and gratitude to our local Kansas veterans who have sacrificed so much for our great nation.

The next flight comes in Friday around noon. The ceremony will take place on the far east end of the lower level of Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita.
If you would like to attend, officials at the airport ask that you be in the terminal between 11:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. They note that sometimes these flights get in early and they want everyone in place and ready when the veterans arrive.
Small American flags will be available for a small donation.
If you plan on busing in a school/organization or you are bringing more than 50 people, please contact David Blanding by emailing chief@kansashonorflight.org. They are limited to about 400 people.
