HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The quarterly earnings session continued for companies with ties to the area as Arconic today reported fourth quarter and full-year 2017 results.

The company, which employs about 75 workers in Hutchinson, recorded fourth quarter 2017 revenue of $3.3 billion, up 10 percent year-over-year, driven by higher volumes across all segments and higher aluminum prices. Fourth quarter 2017 organic revenue was up 6 percent year-over-year. For full-year 2017, revenue was $13.0 billion, up 5 percent year-over-year.

Excluding special items, fourth quarter 2017 adjusted income was $152 million, or $0.31 per share. Excluding the impact of special items, full-year 2017 adjusted income was $618 million, or $1.22 per share.

The next company connected to Reno County to report its earnings will be ADM on Wednesday, followed by Tyson on Thursday.
