Hutchinson Police are investigating a report of an attempted hold up of a local convenience store over the weekend. An employee of the Zip Trip store located at 200 East Avenue “A” only reported the incident to authorities Tuesday night, even though the crime is said to have occurred Saturday evening.

According to Police, a man wearing a gray hoodie, black mask and blue jeans walked into the store around 8:30 p-m, produced a gun and demanded money. When the clerk refused, the man left the store empty handed with a second suspect waiting outside. There were no injuries and no arrests have been made.
