HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Raedeane M. Parks, 90, of Hutchinson, died May 22, 2017, at the Kansas Masonic Home, Wichita. She was born July 30, 1926, in Wichita, to Ray E. and Florence H. (Hancock) Thorpe.
Raedeane was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She enjoyed embroidery, needlework, and daily walks with Earl.
On September 20, 1945, Raedeane married Earl Parks. They shared 68 years of marriage before his death on October 25, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robin Thorpe. Raedeane is survived by: brothers, Charles Thorpe (Renate) of Wichita and Eugene Thorpe (Betty) of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Margaret Devins (Houston) of Wichita; sister-in-law, Sandra Manning (Robert) of Wichita; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Larry McCrary officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.

Gloria graduated from Belpre High School in 1946. She worked at Fraese Drug Store for 32 years and at Wendy’s for nine years as a hostess. Gloria enjoyed her customers who frequented Fraese and Wendy’s, and always gave away free hugs. Gloria and her family attended First Christian Church, where she played the piano for many years during Sunday school. She was a member of the Silver Leaf Chapter #464 Order of the Eastern Star.
Maddie is survived by: children, Casey Kroeker and Luke Archer, both of the home; mother, Irline Kroeker of Central City, NE; brother, Clifton Kroeker of Central City, NE; sisters, Heather Rothermel and husband John of Palmyra, PA, Ali Kroeker of York, NE; and grandma, June Tolen of Broken Bow, NE. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Irl Tolen, Jake and Vi Kroeker.

He is survived by: his parents; daughters, Katie Calvillo of Anthony and Emily Calvillo of Hutchinson; sons, Michael Calvillo of Overland Park and Patrick Calvillo of Acworth, Georgia; sister, Karen Hase (Larry) of Hutchinson; brother, Ted Calvillo (Janine) of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Peyten “PJ” Calvillo; grandsons, Brenden Calvillo and Bobby Graves; and numerous family members and friends.
