HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Salt City Splash in Carey Park will have a back-to-school bash from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Youngsters under the age of 18 will get in free, but children 7 and younger will need to be with a paying adult, which will cost $2.

In addition to swimming, organizers also will be serving free hot dogs, snow cones and bottled water. Children can also enter to win a free bike.

The event is sponsored by The Father’s House, the Hutchinson Police Volunteer Patrol and Salt City Splash.
