HUTCHINSON, Kan. — He was a part of the Kansas State Fair for so many years. Bardo the Clown,  whose real name was  J.B. Holdren, did many things for the fair before his death last year.

With the opening of the new White House will come a full display of all Holdren was to the fair. State Fair General Manager Denny Stoecklein says the display will cover nearly 70 years of State Fair hisitory that Bardo the Clown was a part of. The former White House, used mostly for private meetings and a part of the fair for many years,  had started to show its age. So with the help of a team of  engineering students from Pittsburg State University, and general contractor, Nunn’s Construction, the new White House is nearing completion. Stoecklein says the new facility will be a public museum with rooms for private meetings if needed.

The new facility is expected to be completed by the time the fair starts in September.
