Beck accused of ramming relative’s vehicle in parking lot

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Derek Beck faces possible charges of aggravated battery, stalking and endangering a child after he allegedly rammed his vehicle into one that belonged to a relative.

Beck is being accused of following that family member to a local Dillons. The female victim had a child in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Beck is jailed on a $24,000 bond.

In court, he denied that he struck the vehicle, claiming that it happened the other way. He says his truck was struck.

It was also noted that Beck was harassing the victim by phone. He made contact 79 times in one day.

Beck also has another case pending where he’s charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to statements made in court.
