Blue Dragon basketball times changed for Wednesday

Game times for the Hutchinson Community College women’s and men’s basketball games have been moved up because of potential winter weather on Wednesday.

The Blue Dragons are set to travel to Iola to take on the Allen Red Devils. Game times are being moved up 3 hours because of a forecasted wintery mix on Wednesday night.

The Blue Dragon women will now play at 3 p.m. and the Blue Dragon men at 5 p.m.

Both games will be broadcast live on Blue Dragon flagship station KHUT-FM (102.9) and sister station KWBW-AM/FM (1450/98.5). The women’s pregame will start at 2:50 p.m.

Both games will also be videostreamed live on the Blue Dragon Sports Network at 2:50 p.m.

Wednesday marks the start of the final week of the 2018 regular season for the Blue Dragons. On Saturday, Hutchinson plays host to Independence at the Sports Arena and will travel to Dodge City on Monday.

The Region VI Tournament opens on Thursday, March 1.
