(AP) – Sedgwick County investigators say a body found in a field southeast of Wichita is that of a 19-year-old who was reported missing about a month ago.

A farmer found the body of Jordan Turner of Wichita in a cotton field Wednesday. His father had reported him missing April 6.

Investigators say his death was a homicide but they did not release details of how he was killed.

This is the first homicide in Sedgwick County this year, not including the city of Wichita.
